Eutechtics

Decarbonising the chemical sector by enabling a new generation of green solvents.

Caxboxylic acids are key substrates in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, textiles, fertilizers, polymers, coatings, and more. Their production today predominantly relies on petrochemical feedstocks and often requires high pressure and temperature, resulting in chemicals with high carbon footprints. For instance, acetic acid has a footprint of 1.6 kg CO₂eq per kg of acid, with more complex hydrocarbon moieties drastically increasing the footprint.

EvoCarbon by Eutechtics is a regenerative chemical process that transforms carbon dioxide into “ultra-low” carbon footprint carboxylic acids. The process is enabled by the use of green solvents, combining sustainability, safety, and affordability while significantly reducing environmental impact.
