Hybrid Air Vehicles

Pioneering zero emission aircraft for a better-connected tomorrow

Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) is a UK-based company that has developed Airlander to be the world’s most efficient, large aircraft. HAV’s first aircraft will be Airlander 10, an innovative aircraft that delivers ultra-low emissions across cost-effective passenger transport, luxury tourism, logistics, and communications & surveillance use cases, with a clear pathway to zero emissions by 2030. Airlander 10 will carry 100 passengers or 10 tonnes of freight, and paves the way for the introduction of larger Airlander variants. These will be aircraft capable of transporting greater payloads over further distances and offering new possibilities for decarbonisation.

Airlander combines proven aerospace technologies with modern innovations in materials and manufacturing techniques to deliver a sustainable aircraft with unique capabilities. We expect it to unlock a new category of transport: larger, more fuel-efficient and lower-impact than aeroplanes, faster than travelling by land and sea, and capable of operating away from fixed infrastructure.
