OQC is a global leader in quantum technology. Founded in 2017, and spun out of the University of Oxford, Our aim is to create a quantum-enabled future by developing and building enterprise-ready, superconducting quantum computers based on our patented Coaxmon chip.

The Coaxmon, is the world’s simplest qubit architecture. It is a tileable and modular architecture; qualities that are vital for scalable quantum computation. It is unique in the world of quantum computers.

We were the first company in the world to deploy to commercial data centres in addition to the first company in Europe accessible via Amazon Braket. This commitment to usability makes our technology more accessible to a broader range of users and critically removes barriers to utilising quantum: underscoring our core mission of putting quantum in the hands of humanity.
