Vertical Aerospace is pioneering electric aviation. The company is working with leading aerospace partners, including Honeywell, Rolls-Royce and Leonardo alongside developing its own proprietary battery and propeller technology to develop the world’s most advanced electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles, the VX4.
Vertical has 1,500 pre-orders of the VX4 worth $6bn, with customers including Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Japan Airlines, GOL and Bristow. The company is based in Bristol, the epicentre of the UK’s aerospace industry, and was founded by Stephen Fitzpatrick, founder of OVO Energy. Vertical's experienced team has previously certified and supported over 30 different civil and military aircraft and propulsion systems.
