Metalysis is a global leader in producing metal powders, alloy powders and high entropy powders for use in advanced electronics, capacitors, semiconductor manufacturing, engineering and architecture, aerospace and defence, clean energy, electric vehicles, AI, 5G+ networks and the IoTs. Deploying our solid-state Metalysis FFC electrolysis process we reduce metal oxides from up to 49 elements of the periodic table, including critical materials and REEs. Metalysis is a key midstream asset – providing domestic oxide reduction capabilities within the UK. Our present product focus is the creation of high capacitance grade tantalum powders, aluminium scandium alloys (36 wt %, 25 at % which can be diluted by customers as a master alloy addition), lightweight refractory high entropy alloys - the creation of which heralds a new era in metallurgy - and soon titanium alloys and REE alloys. Our technology leads in reducing lunar regolith to its constituent oxygen and metal alloys.
