A novel blood test to detect cancer at the earliest stages
Almost half of cancers are diagnosed late, when survival rates fall to 10%, compared to >90% if detected early. Current diagnostic tests are limited, slow, and inaccurate, with a true positive:false positive ratio of 1:18. At Xgenera, we are delivering on our mission to transform cancer detection through miONCO-dx, our proprietary blood-based multi-cancer early diagnostic test (MCED).
Using a predictive panel of microRNAs and machine learning, miONCO-dx can detect 12 cancers with 99% sensitivity and specificity across all stages, and localize the cancer site with up to 96% accuracy. Built on data from 20,000 patients, we are now translating our test into a cheaper, faster and more scalable approach to get us closer to a test that can be implemented fast and effectively.
