HFQ® Technology was specially developed for the design of advanced structures using ultra-high strength grades of aluminium.
It enables complex parts to be formed in a single press operation, whilst achieving high levels of strength in the finished structure using standard grades in 2xxx, 6xxx and 7xxx, including highly recycled grades.
Our technology is offered with the most advanced process and simulation tools to tiers, OEMs and aluminium companies to design lightweight structures where dimensional conformation (no spring-back), low cost, part integration and deep draw and/or tight radii are required.

Pressed parts requiring high strength (for light-weighting), part integration (for cost reduction), deep/complex form, zero springback, tight radii, stable mechanical properties and reduced process operations are enabled by HFQ.
Aerospace
HFQ Technology enables the fast and cost-effective manufacture of a wide range of aerospace applications, by replacing multi-piece pressed/machined parts and assemblies. These include Aircraft Interiors and structural parts.
